Form TMS-01
Terms of Service
The terms on which you may use this website. Use of the Accrual platform itself is governed by the master agreement executed with your institution, not by this page.
Effective 15 August 2026
1. These terms, and the ones that matter more
By using getaccrual.co.uk you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
Access to the Accrual platform is separate. It runs on a master subscription agreement, order form and Article 28 data processing agreement executed between Accrual and your institution. Where those documents and this page differ, those documents prevail entirely.
2. What this website is
Marketing and informational material about the Accrual service. It is not medical advice, not clinical guidance, and not an offer of enrolment in any clinical trial.
Nothing on this site should be used to make a treatment decision, and no patient should rely on it to determine whether they qualify for a study. Eligibility is determined by an investigator against the protocol, always — never by Accrual and never by a model.
Any interface, patient record, protocol excerpt, site name or metric shown in illustrations is synthetic demonstration material. It describes no real person and reports no real result.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not scrape, mirror or systematically extract the site's content.
- Do not submit anyone else's personal information through the access request form, and never submit patient information through it.
- Do not use the site to transmit malware, or to interfere with its availability for others.
4. Access requests
Submitting a request creates no obligation on either side. We may decline any request, and we evaluate them against our own capacity and fit criteria. Nothing in an acknowledgement email constitutes an offer, a quote, or a commitment to provide the service.
5. Intellectual property
The Accrual name, wordmark, site design, copy and underlying code are ours or our licensors'. You may not reproduce them beyond ordinary fair use and normal browsing.
Third-party names appearing on this site — EPR vendors, registries, standards bodies — belong to their owners, and their appearance is descriptive. It does not imply endorsement, partnership or integration unless we say so explicitly.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law permits.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accrual is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here affects the statutory rights of a consumer, and for platform customers the master agreement supersedes this page.
We may amend these terms; the effective date above records when we last did. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Pre-launch notice. These documents are drafted as realistic scaffolding for a clinical-data company and have not been reviewed by counsel. Entity details, postal address, data protection officer and the subprocessor roster are placeholders pending incorporation. Do not rely on them as executed legal terms.
